Dominican Republic Cigar Tour

A special announcement from the Fuente and Newman families:

“We are pleased to announce the eighth annual Cigar Family Celebration in the Dominican Republic from February 21-25, 2006. Our annual gathering of CFC members last came to the Dominican Republic in 2004, and we are excited to return in 2006. This year the headquarters of CFC 2006 will be based at the Gran Flamenco Beach resort in Puerto Plata.

“An exciting itinerary has been planned for the eighth annual event, including tours of the Tabacalera A. Fuente cigar and box factories, and visits to Chateau de la Fuente and the Cigar Family Community Complex. Of course, no CFC would be complete without promise of an amazing sampling of fine cigars which will be integral to the experience.

“Additionally, we are very proud to share with all of our cigar family members the progress we have made at the Cigar Family Community Complex. Registration is limited to the first 100 people who sign up.

“The official hotel for CFC 2006 is the Gran Flamenco in Puerto Plata. We have blocked a group of rooms with this hotel from February 21-25, 2006. Reservations have to be made by January 15th, when any left over rooms will be released to the general public.

“All of us will not be able to stay in the same building within the resort due to the limited number of rooms. However, all members of our group will have access to the VIP Royal Club which will be CFC 2006 headquarters in Puerto Plata.

“Finally, registration is now open, please complete the registration form with your payment as soon as possible. The cost for this weekend is U.S. $440.00. This cost includes all the activities on the attached schedule of events, cigars, official CFC 2006 golf shirt, transportation to and from either Santiago or Puerto Plata airports, transportation to Santiago and Bonao, and more.

“If there are any questions regarding CFC schedule, hotel, etc., please do not hesitate to call 1.845.223.3570 or 1.800.477.1884.”
