Change in Cigar Envy Subscription Service

Angelina Jolie smokes a cigar in Original Sin I have been using a service called Bloglet to allow Cigar Envy site visitors to subscribe to email notices of new articles and information posted here. That is going to change.

I have been informed that Bloglet is going to cease operation soon, and so I am transferring the subscription service to Feedblitz.

Those of you who are current Bloglet subscribers will be getting an email from Feedblitz soon. It, like Bloglet, is a free service. You will unfortunately need to set up your account with them again, but they are making it especially quick and easy for people registered with Bloglet.

If you haven’t signed up for email updates, but would like to, just check out the Email Subscription heading in the near right column on any page of the site. Enter your email address into the box, click “Go!” and you will receive an email from FeedBlitz asking you to confirm your subscription. This double opt-in system allows me to make sure that no one is signed up for updates unless they really want to be signed up. I hate spam as much as you do.

Also, I will put in a plug here for the Cigar Envy Yahoogroups Deals and Discussion list. We have over 1100 people signed up on it, but it is still low traffic. You will find specials and group-only discounts and offers posted there, as well as a place to ask questions and get answers on cigar related subjects from a very knowledgeable and friendy group of people.

You can also subscribe by clicking on this email link and sending a blank email to the group. You will receive a follow-up email from yahoogroups asking you to confirm that you want to subscribe just to make sure that no one can be signed up by someone else.

And if you are a cigar or cigar accessory manufacturer or retailer and would like to offer special discounts or deals to the targeted Cigar Envy group list, please email me with information on what you would like to offer. There is no charge, naturally, and previous offers have included free or discounted sample cigars or sampler packs, special samplers, discount coupons and free shipping and handling offers. You can offer a limited number to the first “x” number of people to respond, or a general open offer to Cigar Envy list members. Either way, you will get a very strong response.
